Iona Scotch Ale was brewed with naked oats, wildflower honey, Maris Otter, toasted malts and touch of smoke in the finish. The extra long boil caramelizes the wort and intensifies the flavour. Our friends at Rosewood provided the honey which we used for subtle aromatics instead of fermentables. A good Scotch ale should have a real depth of malt flavour and warmth to it. While this Scotch is ale is very different than Wee Heavy we think you will like the new direction that we have taken this beer in.

Iona is available now on tap at Amsterdam BrewHouse and will be in our retail stores today at 5pm at both 45 Esandar and 245 Queens Quay.
